My political priorities are to use the opportunities of the digital transformation, more transparency and participation, a fair tax policy, affordable housing as well as an open and digital economy.

• A fair tax policy , in which those who have more, support those who have less.
• An open, digital, and green economy in which start-ups and an innovative spirit are supported.
• Providing a framework for the digital transformation and use this opportunity instead of blindly following new trends.
• More transparency and participation at all levels of our democracy.
• A fair housing policy which puts the focus on tenants, first-time buyers, and small property owners.

In 2013 and 2018 I was first runner-up in the legislative elections in the Centre electoral district and in this year’s elections I am happy to run again as a candidate for the Pirate Party in the Centre district to represent our ideas in the Chamber of Deputies.

I am Jerry… Pirate, entrepreneur, and digital activist.

In October 2009, I co-founded the Pirate Party, because I wanted to participate in the political debate in Luxembourg but there was no political party that represented my ideas and visions at that time. I found the organization in other political parties too strict, digital transformation was not addressed and an open and transparent democracy was not their priority. This is why I decided together with other Pirates to found a separate movement to address these issues.

I was the first vice-president of the Pirate Party and from 2010 to 2011 co-chairman of the umbrella organization of the international Pirates, the Pirate Parties International. In 2013 and 2018 I was a candidate for the legislative elections in which I was first runner-up in the Centre district behind Sven Clement. I run again as a candidate for the Pirates in the Centre district in the legislative elections in October 2023 and want to represent our ideas in parliament.

I studied Law and European Studies with great interest in Strasbourg and London. Since the beginning of my studies, I have been self-employed and have founded various start-ups and companies in the digital sector.

First, I was a social media consultant i.a. for the European Commission in Luxembourg. In 2013 I founded the consultancy firm "Clement & Weyer - Digital Communication Consultants" together with Sven Clement. Since 2022 we have worked at AccountTech on projects that make administrative tasks of small households and companies easier: at taxx.lu you can fill in your tax return online and at salary.lu you can fast and easily create your salary slips.

I also try to use the benefits of the digital world for my political projects to simplify processes, to show them in a clearer way in order to make political decisions more transparent for voters. This is why I created and launched my project elus.lu at the end of 2022: it shows the presence of the MPs, the diversity of the parliament, the conflicts of interest and financial interests of the MPs and it also presents the elected members of the municipal councils and the Members of the European Parliament.

In my free time I try to spend as much time as possible with my partner and with my animals. It never gets boring with our two dogs and horse ;) I enjoy doing sports and whenever I have time I tinker with my entertainment-PC or go on a virtual excursion with my VR (virtual reality) headset.
